New Anti-Drunken Driving Initiative Begins August 19

30 Michigan counties will be participating in the new initiative "Drunk Driving. Over the Limit. Under Arrest" that begins Thursday, August 19th and will continue through Monday, September 6th. Participating counties will have added police patrols to combat impaired driving during the Labor Day weekend. Federal traffic safety funds administered by the Office of Highway Safety Planning will provide funding for the added patrols.
