Man Arrested For Possession Of Drugs With Intent To Deliver

At around 1:00 a.m. on June 25, 2010, police stopped a car near the entrance to Maplebrook Apartments on Maple Road in Grand Blanc for having a license plate light out.  The officer allegedly asked the man if he had any alcohol or guns in the car to which the man replied "no" however, when asked about the presence of drugs, the man allegedly replied that "there shouldn't be any drugs in the car."  After reportedly consenting to a search of the car, police discovered about one gram of heroin as well as various prescription drugs.  The man was arrested for possessing drugs with the intent to deliver and transported to the county jail.

Letting a Michigan drug crimes lawyer review your case is one of the most important things you can do. You need someone on your side in court. By conducting an independent investigation, your lawyer may discover that law enforcement actually did not conduct a valid search and that the evidence obtained during that search may be inadmissible. This alone would greatly impact a case. You have the right to be protected from an unlawful search and seizure by law enforcement personnel. You also have the right to legal counsel in the face of any criminal charges, and this includes drug crimes.

If you're facing drug offense charges in Michigan, contact an attorney at our firm for a free evaluation.   We handle drug cases for clients throughout Warren, Sterling Heights, Troy, Rochester Hills and Royal Oak, Michigan. No matter the unique circumstances of your case, a  Michigan drug offense attorney can offer you a free case evaluation and determine what we can do to help you.
