Jackson Man Arrested And Charged With OWI After Fleeing And Hiding In Bushes
A 40-year-old Jackson man was arrested Monday after he allegedly fled from police and hid in some bushes. Police attempted to stop the man for a simple traffic violation when he fled at high speed. After finally pulling into a driveway, the man then fled on foot and tried to hide in some bushes. Police ultimately arrested the suspect after chasing him for approximately four (4) minutes. He has now been charged with operating while intoxicated and resisting and obstructing police.
