Wife Denied Bond In Murder Case
Laura Lynn Johnson was arraigned in 47th District Court in Farmington Hills today on charges of second-degree murder, an alternate charge of manslaughter and unauthorized practice of medicine in the death of her husband, Lloyd Johnson. Judge Marla Parker denied Johnson bond and scheduled a preliminary examination for September 29th.
Mr. Johnson died Wednesday after becoming ill on Monday. While we do not yet know how Mr. Johnson died or the official cause of his death, it is reported that opiates were found in his system although he was not a known to use drug or alcohol. A search warrant of the family home uncovered human tissue kept in the refrigerator. It is being reported that Mr. Johnson had recently told his wife he wanted a divorce.
