Child Arrested Following Robbery At Gunpoint
It is being reported that over the weekend, a 12-year-old girl broke into a neighbor’s house and stole a 9mm handgun. She then allegedly went to the Country Lake Market in
Highland
Township
, showed the clerk the gun and demanded money.
Two clerks ultimately fought the robber for the weapon and allegedly saw her face which she had hidden with a scarf.
Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard has indicated that the girl will likely be charged as a juvenile however, the investigation remains ongoing.
