Two Arrested In 4-Month Narcotics Investigation
A SWAT team sting resulted in the arrest of two alleged crack cocaine dealers in Jackson. Police allege that the men, as well as others, have been working together to sell drugs out of three apartments in the 200 block of West Franklin Street. One of the men was allegedly in possession of a .40 caliber handgun at the time of arrest and each man had small amounts of cocaine on their person. Both men were arraigned today, one on charges of delivery of cocaine and
felon in possession of a firearm while the other was charged with
two counts of delivery of cocaine.
Letting a Michigan drug crimes lawyer review your case is one of the most important things you can do. You need someone on your side in court. By conducting an independent investigation, your lawyer may discover that law enforcement actually did not conduct a valid search and that the evidence obtained during that search may be inadmissible. This alone would greatly impact a case. You have the right to be protected from an unlawful search and seizure by law enforcement personnel. You also have the right to legal counsel in the face of any
criminal charges, and this includes
drug crimes.
