Domestic Dispute Turns Deadly

Saturday evening, Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the North Ridge Apartments apartment complex in response to a citizen’s report of a man dragging a woman into an apartment.  When they arrived on the scene, the 40-year-old suspect allegedly confronted deputies with a knife and took defensive action.  The suspect was shot once and died from his injury.  It is being reported that the suspect stabbed his 74-year-old father and his 68-year-old mother inside the apartment.  Both of the parents were rushed to the hospital but the father did not survive.  The mother remains alive but it is being reported that her wounds may be life-threatening.
