Man Steals Girlfriend's Car and Threatens Gas Station Clerk
Police in Grand Blanc Township were able to track down and arrest a man who had stolen his girlfriend's car and threatened a gas station clerk, all in the same day.
A call came in to the station around 12:30 a.m. from a woman saying that her car was missing. Just a few hours later, around 2 a.m., police were called out to the Marathon gas station on the corner of Grand Blanc Road and Dort Highway to subdue a man who was yelling at the clerk. Police arrived to find that several items from the store had been thrown on the ground and the man was still yelling at the clerk. She later told the police that he had threatened to "break her neck" after she asked him politely to leave the store.
It turns out that he was also driving the stolen vehicle which prompted police to arrest him for disorderly conduct and stealing a vehicle.
