Organizer Of Ann Arbor’s Hash Bash Faces Felony Charges
It is being reported by the Detroit Free Press that Adam Brook, 20-year organizer of Ann Arbor's Hash Bash, has pled not guilty to one count of manufacturing and delivering marijuana, three counts of being a
felon in possession of a firearm and four other
firearms charges. In a raid conducted by the Oakland County Narcotics Team, police allegedly seized a triple-beam scale, more than a pound of marijuana, marijuana candy, a tally sheet of names and prices, two loaded handguns, a loaded shotgun and a bullet proof vest. A preliminary exam has been scheduled for March 22.
Letting a Michigan criminal lawyer from
Freedman & Freedman review your case is one of the most important things you can do. You need someone on your side in court. By conducting an independent investigation, your lawyer may discover that law enforcement actually did not conduct a valid search and that the evidence obtained during that search may be inadmissible. This alone would greatly impact a case. You have the right to be protected from an unlawful search and seizure by law enforcement personnel. You also have the right to legal counsel in the face of any criminal charges, and this includes drug and weapons crimes.
