Royal Oak Woman Gets 5-15 Years In Fatal Drunken Driving Accident
It is being reported by Fox 2 and The Macomb Daily that a Royal Oak woman will spend the next five to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to a drunken driving accident that killed one person.
Kelly Nagle, 20, was sentenced Thursday by Judge Matthew Switalski of the Macomb County Circuit Court.
Back on January 16th, Nagle's SUV crashed head-on into a pickup truck on Dequindre Road in Sterling Heights, killing 54-year-old Annette Evans of Richmond. Nagle was reportedly nearly three times the limit of legal intoxication.
The Macomb Daily reports a second charge of drunken driving second offense was dismissed in the plea deal. She was also ordered to pay $5,727 in restitution.
